Mansfield, WA
About

With the snow capped Cascade Mountains in the horizon, and nestled within the golden wheat fields of northern Douglas County lies the small town of Mansfield, Washington. This farming community of less than 350 people began its historic path in the late 1800's, when the Great Northern Railroad placed tracks from Wenatchee to rural areas holding high potential. The train stopped in what is now Mansfield bringing settlers who were looking for work and, who in turn, gave Mansfield all the aspects of a boom town. Today, the train is gone, but Mansfield still thrives on it's main economy of grain production. The population is considerably smaller, but the dedication to succeed is stronger than ever.
